Det. Robert Goren
Vincent D'onofrio
Emmy nominated and acclaimed feature film actor Vincent D’Onofrio returns for his fourth season as the smoothly intuitive Detective Robert Goren in the Wolf Films/Universal Network Television drama series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
“Bobby Goren takes you through a different story every week,” says D’Onofrio. “Sometimes it’s a ‘who-dunnit’ or sometimes a ‘why-dunnit.’ The fun and interesting thing about our show is that the audience knows things my character doesn’t and, as the story moves along, will realize that I know things that they don’t. The whole story is a game and we all get to play.”
With a haunting portrayal of an unstable Vietnam War recruit in Stanley Kubrick’s gritty “Full Metal Jacket” in 1987, D’Onofrio gained attention for his intense and compelling talent on the screen. His other early film appearances include “Mystic Pizza” and “Adventures in Babysitting.”

Detective Zach Nichols
Jeff Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum joins the cast as Detective Zach Nichols in season eight of the USA Network original series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
With a career spanning film, television, and theater, Jeff Goldblum is one of the most talented and respected actors of his generation.

In less than a year, Joseph Papp cast him in the Broadway hit “Two Gentlemen of Verona.” Soon after, he had his first film audition and was cast as the terrifying rapist in "Death Wish." In contrast to that role, the very next week Robert Altman cast Goldblum as the twenty-year-old boy wonder in "California Split," and asked him to play the mysterious biker/magician in "Nashville.
Goldblum’s long list of film credits include roles in some of the highest grossing films of all time, including Steven Spielberg's worldwide box-office success, "Jurassic Park,” and Roland Emmerich’s science fiction thriller, "Independence Day.”

Det. Alexandra Eames
Kathryn Erbe
Kathryn Erbe returns for a fourth season and relishes her pro-active role in NBC’s drama “Law & Order: Criminal Intent ” as the assertive, clever New York Detective Alexandra Eames.
As Erbe jokes, “As the only level-headed woman in the cast, I keep the men in line. But seriously, who could ask for a better opportunity than to partner with Vincent D’Onofrio and to play a strong intelligent female lead on a show like this?”
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, Erbe is a veteran of both film and television, and has been a working actress since she graduated from New York University in 1990.
Most recently, she appeared in the feature film Speaking of Sex (2001) with Lara Flynn Boyle and Bill Murray.
Erbe also gained notice in the 1999 box office hit Stir of Echoes opposite Kevin Bacon, and Dream with the Fishes (1997) with David Arquette. Her additional film credits include Entropy, Kiss of Death, Mighty Ducks 2, Rich in Love, and What About Bob? -
