Hosanna Roseanna
In the season two premiere, Harry's successful law firm moves into a hip, swanky loft...and that's not the only thing that's changed. Against her better judgement, Harry agrees to defend Eric Sanders (guest star ALFRED MOLINA), a man accused of savagely killing his wife. She takes the case at the request of Oliver Richard -- a hot-shot attorney from the very firm that fired her the previous year. The extremely high-profile case brings Harry toe-to-toe with the head honcho herself, D.A. Roseanna Remmick (guest star JEAN SMART). Meanwhile, new associate Cassie Reynolds represents an artist whose painting was unceremoniously altered by the purchaser. Elsewhere, Tommy Jefferson (series star CHRISTOPHER McDONALD), forces his way into sharing Harry's new office space and pursues a box store giant, vying to be their local counsel in a huge class action lawsuit.

Cassie Reynolds
Karen Olivo starred as Anita in the acclaimed Broadway revival of "West Side Story," directed by Arthur Laurents, a role which garnered her the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. Olivo also earned Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Award nominations for her portrayal of the iconic character.

Tommy Jefferson
Christopher McDonald plays Tommy Jefferson, a flamboyant and cocky attorney on "Harry's Law."McDonald is one of Hollywood's most prolific and versatile actors. Beloved for his comic role as Mr. Stifler in "American Pie," as well as memorable performances in "Thelma and Louise" and "Happy Gilmore," McDonald is a classically-trained stage actor with a broad fan base. His notable dramatic television guest-starring roles include work on "The Sopranos," "The Bronx Is Burning," "61" and Martin Scorsese's critically acclaimed HBO series, "Boardwalk Empire."

Harriet "Harry" Korn
Kathy Bates has been honored numerous times for her work on stage, screen and television. She won an Academy Award® and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of obsessed fan Annie Wilkes in Rob Reiner’s 1990 hit Misery, based on Stephen King’s novel. In 1999, she received Oscar®, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations and won a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award and a Critics Choice Award for her performance in Mike Nichols’ Primary Colors.
Bates more recently earned her third Oscar® nomination for her role in Alexander Payne’s About Schmidt, for which she also garnered Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations and won a National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her film work has also been recognized with Golden Globe and BAFTA Award nominations for Jon Avnet’s Fried Green Tomatoes, and she also shared in a SAG Award nomination with the ensemble cast of James Cameron’s all-time, top-grossing blockbuster Titanic.
Bates has also been honored for her work behind the camera as a director. She helmed the A&E telefilm Dash and Lilly, starring Sam Shepard and Judy Davis, which earned nine Emmy® nominations, including one for Bates as Best Director. She also directed five episodes of the acclaimed HBO series Six Feet Under, earning a Directors Guild of America Award for the episode entitled Twilight.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Bates received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1970 from Southern Methodist University, which awarded her an honorary doctorate in 2002.

Nate Corddry began his career on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and was then cast as a series regular on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, created and produced by Aaron Sorkin. Corddry went on to work in such features as The Invention of Lying with Ricky Gervais and The Ugly Truth with Katie Heigl and Gerard Butler.
Most recently, Corddry’s credits include the series lead in Larry Charles’ Our Show for NBC, HBO’s miniseries The Pacific produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, a starring role opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in the HBO pilot The Wonderful Malady’s, a 10-episode arc on the Spielberg-produced Showtime drama The United States of Tara, and a guest cameo on the Emmy® Award-winning NBC series 30 Rock.

I was so looking forward to the 'new season,' and I am sorry to say that I was rather disappointed. The advertisement breaks were actually longer than the stories! I do hope for an improvement as I became a firm fan as a result of the really excellent first series. The characters from the first series were very well portrayed but in the new series they seem to be fading into insignificance, almost as if that don't know what they are doing there! Anyway, forgive the moans and one can only hope for an improvement.

Monday's episode, 13.02.12, was dragged down to a level I hope is not going to be repeated. The first 'F' word crept in. Also Christians became part of the story and as usual they were portrayed as fanatics and all slightly unhinged. I get the feeling that the people who make these episodes have never met a real Christian. The story was a bit of a joke as well. A man was sacked because he was teaching Darwinism. What a laugh. We all know these days that the Christian is more likely to be sacked and the evolutionist given a few grand for hurting his stinking rotten feelings.
